Well, today is the day. 16 years ago on August 27th, 1990, Stevie Ray Vaughn died. The greatest guitar player ever died today on a plane crash. I think that SRV was the greatest guitarist of all time. He was credited by many (including Eric Clapton) to creating an entirely new sound on a guitar. Stevie was known for his amazing blues music and also known for using outlandishly large strings. I just wanted to pay a small tribute to this guy...he deserves it.
